![]() There are free Sea Doo manuals available online. (9) Replace the VTS hull gasket (I remember it being a large o-ring), and then reinstall the VTS. If the VTS doesn't work,Įither the fuse blew again, and the housing is bad, or the housing is bad. (8) Connect the VTS to the wire harness, start the engine and test the VTS assembly. (7) With a good motor, grease the jack screw assembly and set the jack screw assembly in the middle. (6) Find a blown fuse, small amp, 5 or 6 as I remember, and replace it. If the motor fails to run, it may be water contaminated. (5) Test the motor with a 12v battery and a few jumper leads. (4) Remove the VTS housing, disconnect the wire harness leads, remove the cover, the motor, and jack ![]() ![]() The rubber boot, and let water into the VTS housing. It is very possible the small hose clamp chewed a hole in (3) remove the rubber boot, near the pump. (2) Disconnect the trim from the steering nozzle. (1) Remove the ride shoe to get some working room. Turning until it became jammed inside the housing and possibly blow a fuse. On the screen it says that the trim is at the lowest setting, and the nozzle is pointed down.Sounds like the housing lost track of where the tilt nozzle was, and allowed the motor to continue
